I am a fun, creative, discplined Drama & English and 11+ Teacher interested in developing and fostering the expressive and creative development of children with 10yrs experience as a qualified teacher. Since having a daughter in Feb 2019, I have chosen to tutor outside of mainstream education for flexible work/life balance.

I have a unique way of engaging with timid, shy and challenging children who are often the most creative and academic but often get left behind in main stream classrooms where the teacher is generally stretched for time.

Through private tutoring, I have been able to spend quality time building confidence, academic enjoyment and core knowledge in KS1 – 5 English, Maths, Science and performing arts.

My core subject areas are: reading, writing original stories and practising handwriting, literacy and phonics, addition/subtraction/multiplication and division (KS1-2), script writing, film, acting for stage, acting for screen, theatre studies, Shakespeare, Brecht, alice walker etc.
