KS2 SATs exams are reflective on the national curriculum, so here at Focus we follow the year 6 syllabus and teach students the relevant materials that will pop up in the exam. Although SATs exams does not have any influence on their career path or which level secondary schools would gauge your child at, it is still important for take them seriously. Year 6 students need to understand and experience the exam conditions they will face, before they enter secondary school. As a result, this will help 11 year olds to anticipate what they will face for future summer exams, when they enter higher education.
Similarly to our intensive GCSE course, we will help students how to revise and take exams under timed conditions. Hence taking your child to our Easter course will help you gauge the level they are at, for future preparation of their academia.

Is your child entering year 5 or already in year 5? You may already be thinking about which secondary schools to apply for and which offers the best education for your child. Grammar schools may be one of the options on the website and on your choices, therefore it is important to start now on their 11+ exam preparation!

Taking our two week course will boost your child’s confidence in taking exams, as well as improve the level they are at in school. Besides offering an intensive Easter course, Focus Tuition also has tuition sessions everyday from Monday – Saturday. Each subject runs for 1 hour, at a very generous price of £6 per hour!
